Robyn Hrivnatz

Robyn Hrivnatz has devoted the last 11 years to education where she has taught both junior high and elementary Science and English Language Arts. She currently holds a Science Instructional Coach position in Katy Independent School District where she works with science teachers and students at Cinco Ranch Junior High and Beck Junior High to integrate technology to help revolutionize today’s classroom into one of the 21st century.
Her areas of interest include inquiry-driven project based learning, Web 2.0, B-Y-O-Device mobile learning environments, and social media professional development. (@robynhrivnatz)
As a professional leader, Robyn is a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer, Discovery Educator Network Star Educator, certified SMART Trainer and an active member of ISTE, TCEA, NSTA, ATPE, Classroom 2.0, and several educational technology Special Interest Groups. Robyn has recently participated in the US Innovative Educator Forum in Redmond, Washington featuring a PBL STEM lesson for 7th grade students. In addition to the US IEF, Robyn was selected as one of two educators from the United States for the inaugural Partners In Learning Global Institute this past July in which she collaboratively worked with 49 other educators from 33 countries around the world.
